Grandparents Day of Prayer is only 59 days away. You may have thought it was a good idea to join in prayer with other grandparents, but what would that look like? How would we accomplish that?
I want to share suggestions for things you can do for Grandparents Day of Prayer on September 11.
- Ask your pastor or Senior Adult Ministry pastor to make an announcement challenging grandparent to pray for their grandchildren on September 11.
- Have a potluck after church for grandparents on September 11 and a prayer time for your grandchildren.2
3. Invite grandparents to your home to join you in prayer for their grandchildren.
4. Make September 11 a special day of prayer as you pray for each of your grandchildren intentionally.
5. Send your grandchildren a note to inform them that you will be praying for them individually on September 11, Grandparents Day of Prayer.
6. Download and distribute Prayer Suggestions: “31 Scriptures to Pray and Suggestions to pray for Grandchildren in School” available at http://www.christiangrandparenting.net/free-downloads or purchase the prayer cards on the website.
7. There are many FREE RESOURCES at https://christiangrandparenting.com/free-resources/
