I am sure you have noticed that I am passionate about praying for my grandchildren in my writings. I recognize the critical moral and spiritual environment; my grandchildren and great-grandchildren must navigate in this world hostile to truth.
Recently Franklin Graham wrote, “Our nation is in serious trouble—we are in desperate need of Divine intervention. We need healing. Prayer is what can make a difference in America.”
That is why we at Christian Grandparenting Network are calling grandparents worldwide to unite in prayer in small groups to participate in the Grandparents@Prayer movement. Let us come to God with boldness and confidence, praying for the environment our grandchildren and great-grandchildren are growing up in today.
You may ask, “What is the Grandparents@Prayer movement?” it is an initiative to mobilize Christian grandparents worldwide to regularly and intentionally unite in prayer for their grandchildren, families, and the influences in their grandchildren’s lives.
Some of you may already be a part of a Grandparents Prayer group. However, if you have not, will you say, “Yes! I would like to sign up to receive more information“. Click on https://christiangrandparenting.net/grandparents-at-prayer/
In closing, I want to share an email from a grandmother in South Dakota I received yesterday.
“We held our September meeting this afternoon via zoom, and it was once again a super meeting. Lots of sharing of worries and concerns and prayers for our beloved children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, teachers, and our grandchildren’s friends. One of the main things in our session today was not only prayers for the safety and success of our grandchildren but for them to learn to love the Lord. Education in these pandemic times certainly played a major part in our conversation, but it appears that, for the most part, the kids seem to be doing well at virtual learning.”
