Does God’s love reflect from your life?

I live in Oregon, and this is a picture of beautiful Mt. Hood reflecting on Trillium Lake. As I was pondering this beautiful scene, I asked myself does God’s love reflect from my life like Mt Hood reflects on the lake. Do my grandchildren see my love for God, reflecting from my life to them? 

“As the water reflects the face, so the heart reflects the person” Proverbs 27:19 (HCSB)

Grandparents, let’s ask ourselves.

 Does God’s love reflect from my life to my children and grandchildren as the mountain reflects on the lake? 

Do they see Jesus in me?

Will they even want my Jesus?

Considering these questions and the possible answers, I realized that the sun needs to shine on the water for there to be a reflection. For God’s love to reflect from my life, the love of God’s Son, Jesus Christ, must shine in my heart.    

Pray for your grandchildren, children and others will see God’s love reflect from your life.
