“Even a child is known by his actions, by whether his conduct is pure and right” (Proverbs 20:11).
1. Pray your grandchildren will learn to follow instructions and conduct themselves with the right behavior.
2. Encourage your grandchildren to be obedient to their parents.
3. Help them to understand that being well behaved is pleasing to God, their parents, teachers, and others. Appropriate behavior will be beneficial to them.
4. Help them to understand that sometimes it is hard to be good, but God will help them to make the right choices for appropriate behavior if they ask Him.
5. Pray they will have gentle, kind, and honest words.
6. Pray that your grandchildren will recognize when they are tempted to sin, think about it, and choose to resist the enemy.
7. Pray that if they do sin, they will admit it, confess the sin to God, and ask forgiveness, if they have hurt another person.
8. Pray they will learn to think before they speak and choose their words wisely.
9. Pray for the Fruit of the Spirit to be revealed in the lives of your grandchildren.
I would love to send you a FREE downloadable E-book of how to pray the Fruit of the Spirit for your grandchildren. If you sign up for my blog (on the right), I will send it to you. If you are already a blog subscriber, send me an email requesting the Fruit of the Spirit E-book.
