Does writing energize or exhaust you?
Exhaust me.
How did writing this book grow you spiritually?
It made me depend on God’s guidance, trusting Him because I felt so inadequate. Because I was out of my comfort zone, I had to depend on Him. It strengthened my relationship with God.
What do you like to do when you are not writing?
Playing word games on my cell phone, traveling, spending time with friends.
Share something your readers wouldn’t know about you.
I’m 81 years old. Been married 61 years to my high school sweetheart. I am not a college graduate, but God has given me the opportunity to write a book about my passion.
What books or authors have most influenced your own writing?
Grandma, I need your prayers, by Quinn Sherrer & Ruthanne Garlock.
A Practical Guide to Culture by Stonestreet & Kunkle
Favorite quote?
“Life is hard, but God is good”
When did you start writing?
In my early 60’s.
What is the most difficult part about writing for you?
Coming up with new ideas to since I have been writing about praying for grandchildren for 15 years.
How do you do research for your books?
Reading books about today’s culture and the Bible.
