I want to personally thank you for your impressive response for the Grandparents Day of Prayer. The analytics of my website and Facebook page indicate thousands were reached with the information, which is fantastic. Your “likes” on Facebook posts, your comments and sharing with your friends have been remarkable. I believe God is going to do amazing things in the lives of our dear grandchildren because grandparents joined in prayer on National Grandparents’ Day, making it a special day of prayer throughout the world.
This year we see such an URGENT NEED in our culture and ungodly environment to declare the month of September as “Grandparents’ Month of Prayer. “Christian Grandparenting Network (
We believe the battle for the hearts and mindsof our dear grandchildren and their parents can be won by praying grandparents who sense the urgency and unite to do battle in prayer and give Godly counsel.
In the past, united prayer has always bridged the gapbetween a great need and a great awakening! We are praying many churches and groups will participate in prayer around the world for this intentional month of prayer on behalf of the next generation.

My desire is for my blogs and Facebook posts to encourage and support you as you pray intentionally for your grandchildren.I would appreciate it if you will continue to share the blog and Facebook postswith your friends.
We had a wonderful time at our Grandparent’s luncheon at my church today with 50 in attendance. A young lady shared how her grandparents had impacted her life. The food was delicious, the door prizes were fun, the fellowship was great, and the testimony inspiring.
Would you commenton this post or Facebook page to let me know how you prayed for your grandchildren on September 8, Grandparents’ Day of Prayerin your church or with your friends?
May God grant you favor as you make every day a day of prayerfor your grandchildren.

Yesterday, my wife Donna and I were allowed to share about intentional prayer by us grandparents at the beginning of the sermon at our church. Thanks to the information we’ve gathered from G@P , it was a wake up call for most of the church. I’ve been overwhelmed trying to figure out how to pray effectively & specifically for each of our 52 grandkids and great grandkids. With the tools on the website, we started putting together a journal. I decided to find which day of the week they were born on and let them know Nana & I are praying for them every week on that day. So far, we have 21 of our 52 done. We’re finding out so many details of there lives, so we can be more specific when we pray for them. The scripture prayer cards help with praying for the specific details. We’re finding their likes and dislikes, achievements and failures and problems. Can’t wait to finish our Intentional Grandparenting Journal
