Our Grandchildren need intentional praying grandparents to pray for them to have open hearts to seek God with all their hearts and not stray from the instructions of God’s Word.
Prayer is one of the most powerful gifts that God has given us. It gives us direct access to seek guidance, comfort, and talk with our Heavenly Father about our concerns for our grandchildren and their parents.
Would you like to find grandparents to pray with you for your grandchildren? Well, we have the answer for you!
Christian Grandparents Network saw the need and has encouraged Grandparents @ Prayer (G@P) groups to provide a safe environment for two or more grandparents to gather and pray for their grandchildren. Most groups schedule their meetings weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly. Meetings last approximately one hour. G@P groups consist of small or large groups of people meeting once or twice a month at a designated location for 1 to 1 ½ hours of prayer and fellowship.
I would like to share a testimony of a participant. I have always believed in the power of prayer, not as a means to an end but as a means to God. Our grandmother’s prayer group is a beautiful group of like-minded grandmother’s and even aunts. They have the same desire that prayer is the lifeline that draws us to The Lord for our grandchildren. We see God at work in the lives of those we love and who have been entrusted to us. Jan, Oregon
