Are you a part of the Million Praying Grandparents Movement?

As the National Prayer Director for Christian Grandparenting Network, I had a dream to form a movement of a Million Praying Grandparents. Grandparents committed to pray intentionally and regularly for their grandchildren and their parents.   Our grandchildren are growing up in a wounded, divided, and sin-ravaged society so I believe you share my concern for their future. That’s why I am asking you to join me in this endeavor.

 You may ask what is the Million Praying Grandparents Movement?   The Million Praying Grandparents is a community of grandparents committed to intentionally pray for their grandchildren and their parents.

 The Mission of Christian Grandparenting Network is to mobilize grandparents worldwide to intentionally and regularly pray for their grandchildren, their families, and all influences in their grandchildren’s lives. That is the reason we are encouraging grandparents to participate in the Million Praying Grandparents Movement.

In today’s shattered world, Satan’s purpose is to distract and destroy the family from the truth and faith in Jesus Christ. It is critical that we implore God to give the parents of our grandchildren wisdom and perseverance in their monumental task of guiding our grandchildren in the ways of the Lord.

While we live in a culture of spiritual, social and moral decline we are not without hope, nor are we at the mercy of the merciless and evil in this world. We read in Psalms 46:1, “We have a God who is our refuge and strength, our stronghold in times of trouble.”  

Perhaps at no time in history is a call for intentional prayer more urgently needed than today. If you grasp the urgency of our time, then I urge you to join the Million Praying Grandparents movement linking arms in prayer for the next generation. When you join the Million Praying Grandparents Movement you are declaring your commitment to pray regularly for your grandchildren.
