Grandparenting with a Purpose: Effective Ways to Pray for your Grandchildren
Christian Grandparenting Network understands the urgency of our day to unite in prayer for our grandchildren, proclaiming Sunday, September 11, as Grandparent’s Day of Prayer on National Grandparent’s Day. They would like to encourage grandparents to unite in prayer for their grandchildren.
God has given grandparents a sacred trust – an opportunity to imprint another generation with His love and faithfulness. Perhaps no other time in our history has a call to prayer been more critical for grandparents as it is today. Grandparents need to be intentional about prayer and avail its power to keep the hearts and minds of their grandchildren from falling captive to the enemy’s deception. We are engaged in a spiritual battle that requires prayer as the weapon.

Our church, Calvary Chapel Melbourne, FL, is celebrating the Grandparent’s National Day of Prayer for the first time this Sept. 11th. We are very excited to have grandmothers and grandfathers praying together for the salvation of our grandchildren. We are standing in the gap at CCM!
